We did the Christmas lunch in 2021 and 2022, so this was our third year, and we had been looking forward to it for 2 weeks. But in all honesty, it was underwhelming. The main problem was the menu, which was heavy on meat (versus last 2 years, which had primarily fish). I don't have any problem with meat, but one whole course was foie gras, which is far too rich, and would have been better as a teaser, and the main course of veal we both found very dry and lacking in flavor, and which neither of wanted to finish. I mentioned it to the server, and we were graciously offered another course, but we declined. The scallop starter was very good, but it was paired with some sort of sorbet that was frozen solid to the point of not being edible (it was too hard to be pierced with a fork or cut with a knife, and not spoon was provided), and also had almost no flavor. I ordered wine pairing, and I liked all of them. However, the wines always arrived after the dish was presented, which I found really annoying. It led me to look around to find the sommelier to check if the wine was on the way. The pours were average, and there was no attention paid to topping them off when I finished the glass before the next course was delivered. On a more minor note, we were seated in the front room, rather than the more beautiful back room, which we had expected based on the previous 2 years. So bottom line - we had liked coming to your restaurant as part of our Christmas tradition, but I don't think we'll be back next year. For 500 EUR, the value was not even close to what we could have had elsewhere.
